Scenic Elements
Welcome to the Custom scenics area of our website. Each one of these dioramas and scenic elements are hand made here in our Michigan studio. Each one of these are unique as a result and although we have duplicated the general look of earlier dioramas, they can never be identical. Although the majority of our models are built to our design and then offered for sale, we can build more specific sizes with elements to suit your needs and space. Please feel free to call us to discuss possible commission work, but be aware that we are a small studio and need a fair period of lead-time to complete custom orders.
These are smaller scenics that we create from time to time. They can be used as accents to enhance a figure display, or in some cases be used as small stand-alone displays to feature your favorite figure on. Some may have beveled edges and this enables the user to place them directly on some of the larger diorama bases to temporarily change their appearance
Introducing our new stone and wood fence sections. High density polyurethane foam and resin casting from our original patterns. Each section is three runs of stone in a zig zag with 4 cross braces and rails. Each one is hand painted as shown and completely ready to use. These images are shown with a photo backdrop printed on archival paper stock. The photo was taken at Gettysburg a few years ago and blends everything together very nicely.
By request we are now offering bushes on earthy bases. This first image shows our 2005 Small Bushes and 2006 Large Bushes with a 1/30th scale K&C Heer Infantryman for scale reference.
These two sizes will stand alone and be used singly, in multiples, as mixed groups or as shown, with our Wild Grass Base and Hedgerows. Figures by ONWTC and W. Britain are used for reference to illustrate just a few of the the exciting landscapes you can create.
Hedgerows are a very popular product of ours, and can be used for almost any time period. Usually these are 8 to 10" long and 4" deep in varied colors of green. ONWTC GI figure is shown for scale reference.
