Scenic Elements
Thank you for visiting our gallery. This is the area of our site where you can view some of our past projects that have been sold. None of these were commissioned, but if you see elements that you are interested in please feel free to contact us with inquiries.
All of these scenics and scenic environments are hand made here in our Michigan studio. These are designed to allow collectors to display almost any vehicle or figure ranging from 1/32nd to 1/28th scale.
These are smaller scenics that we create from time to time. They can be used as accents to enhance a figure display, or in some cases be used as small stand-alone displays to feature your favorite figure on. Some may have beveled edges and this enables the user to place them directly on some of the larger diorama bases to temporarily change their appearance
The following three images are examples of scenic elements incorporating our Hudson & Allen Barbed Wire. All three of these elements have beveled edges allowing you to use them as stand alone scenics or as accessories on larger diorama bases.
The first image is an example of a spring/summer grass base, the second is a winter environment, and the last is a desert base.
Pictured is a small base with our hand made hydrostone Dragons's Teeth. These defensive works can be made longer if required.
Here is an example of a customer combining several Hudson & Allen components to create a scene. A basic Wild Grass base was used with a Stone Wall section, a wild rose bush, and a small stand of trees. The figures displayed are made by First Legion, and were used for scale reference.
Shown is a small custom base featuring our Wild Grass and a handmade wild rose bush. Like many of our other Scenic Elements, this one features a beveled edge allowing it to be used alone or as a component of a larger diorama. Often very simple treatments are very effective with a small splash of color. This base measures approximately 8" x 5" with our Wild Grass, Field Grass, and a stand of hand made poppies. German infantry by W. Britain for scale reference.
Hastyworks are quickly made defensive works often described in American Civil War accounts. These are very popular with collectors, and we often have one on hand. Please call for availability.
