North American
Our buildings and structures are researched, designed, patterned, molded, decorated and assembled here in Michigan. We use several different materials with an eye for realistic but reasonable durable products. These models can be used with many different manufacturers products to create both backdrops and larger dioramas. We will soon be offering some uniquely North American structures. The regional differences in construction, combined with period specific characteristics will mean that most of these can only be used in North America. Please visit this area from time to time for updates.
Introducing our new stone and wood fence sections. High density polyurethane foam and resin casting from our original patterns. Each section is three runs of stone in a zig zag with 4 cross braces and rails. Each one is hand painted as shown and completely ready to use. These images are shown with a photo backdrop printed on archival paper stock. The photo was taken at Gettysburg a few years ago and blends everything together very nicely.
We have just finished cleaning and painting our first run of Brick Walls. As with our other products these are molded Rigid Urethane Foam parts from our original patterns. They come decorated just as you see in these images and are in stock, ready to ship.
“STONEWALL SECTION” walls have been molded of lightweight urethane foam that can be easily cut and modified with a hobby knife. The original patterns were hand built in our studio to duplicate a typical stonewall as is often found in northwest Europe. Walls like this have been built for centuries and are still common today. Although your walls have been hand painted in our studio to represent typical coloring if you wish to repaint your walls we recommend the use of water based hobby paints for coloring and “white glue” to affix the foam details. Included is one high quality Stone Wall Section.
